Josh is the sole artist at Labor Day who does not hail from North Carolina. When you experience his sublime voice and honest brand of pop/rock music you'll understand why we had to bring him here. He will be joining us from Nashville and bringing with him a collection of songs that will leave you feeling warm and ready to take on the world. Josh's first EP "It's You" was produced and recorded by Josh and his friend Joseph Logan. The EP was inspired by artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer and Keith Urban. After completing the first record, Josh realized that music was not just a hobby; he could not ignore the passion and calling he had for music and songwriting. After graduating from college in 2010 Josh moved to Nashville, TN to submerge himself in the music scene. His second EP "Sky Is Falling" was released in 2011. The record hits hard from the very first song. Josh’s most recent effort and first full length record, “No Holds Barred”, was released in 2013. When asked about his music, Josh explains "I've come to realize that when it comes to music, people just want to hear and experience something real. The songs I write are about the life struggles we all go through on a regular basis. Life is a journey of ups and downs. Let's enjoy the ups together and be there for each other during the downs. Follow me in this journey and we will tackle life together in music." Josh will be playing at the Western North Carolina Roots & Rock Experience at 4:30 on 9/5 in Downtown Canton.
